Indie rock band Arlo has arrangedand recorded a cover of "The Greatest Adventure" for the upcoming feature documentary, RINGERS: LORD OF THE FANS. A song beloved by young-at-heart Tolkien fans since 1977, it was first sung by Limeliters vocalist Glenn Yarbrough for the Rankin/Bass animated feature The Hobbit. This simple yet powerful tune has been gloriously amped-up with the boys from Arlo giving it the full rock treatment -- a perfect addition to the RINGERS soundtrack of energetic rock songs.

Originating in Texas and gathering new band members while during their college years in Los Angeles, Arlo has become a unique force in the Southern California pop-rock scene. The band wowed the critics from Billboard, who praised the band's "scintillating harmonic pop in the vein of the Beach Boys mixed with big, memorable hooks suitable for sing-a-longs.... Ideal for blasting in the car at full volume with the windows rolled down." Arlo's music has also been lauded as a hybrid between Teenage Fanclub, the Pixies, and the Smithereens. Recently debuted albums are "Up High in the Night" and their second released album "Stab the Unstoppable Hero." The U.C.
