On September 27th 2003, the official first trailer for The Return of the King premiered in front of New Line Cinema's 'Secondhand Lions.' The trailer was then available online at AOL and the official website on Monday the 29th.

On Sept 30th 2002, AOL users got the first peak at the FIRST The Two Towers trailer. Coming in at an amazinged 3 minutes and 3 seconds, the trailer is probably the best Lord of the Rings trailer to date. Well composed and showing us everything we could want and more, this this just simply rocks! Check it out!

On June 25th 2002, TORn fan Treebeard pointed us in the direction of an early release of this Two Towers Teaser trailer available online. For those of us who have been starving for a Two Towers trailer, the news was a relief.

On September 24th 2001, New Line Cinema released the second Fellowship of the Ring trailer with the premiere of 'Angel' on the WB. This one time TV showing of the trailer lived up to expectations. This trailer comes in at an amazing 2:51 minutes! The frame by frame analysis is also pretty extensive. 10 pages with 20 images per page. So be prepared to spend a hour or so browsing through these amazing stills.

On September 6th 2001, New Line Cinema pulled a fast one! Without any notice from spies, insiders or even us, they premiered a Lord of the Rings commercial during the MTV Movie Awards. The commercial was played at the 2 hour, 45 minute mark, during technical difficulties with the U2 Presentation.
