Annie Lennox to Perform at 76th Academy Awards
Beverly Hills, CA - Annie Lennox will perform at the 76th Academy Awards
ceremony, telecast producer Joe Roth announced today. This will be the first
time the singer has performed on an Oscar(R) telecast.

Peter Jackson wins the DGA Award!!!
This week at the 56th Annual DGA Awards the greatest film and TV directors
gathered to honor their very best. The 2003 Award for Outstanding
Directorial Achievement for a Feature Film was given to Peter Jackson for
ROTK. With great warmth and humility, PJ accepted the award by thanking
J.R.R. Tolkien, saying "the book honors the ideas of courage, friendship,
and faith." Pictures are available in our Gallery here. Pay attention
Academy voters -- this award is the industry's strongest barometer of who
will win the Oscar!
