We are in agreement in all but what constitutes "fun" - taking a bit
less than two hours via train each way is within my 3-5 hour total
commute time estimate - especially when you include getting to the
train station and waiting for the next train to leave. So yes, a
Circle Line tour or Red Apple bus are feasible...
The reason I don't find this satisfying is that New York City is at a
level where I place only Tokyo and London - there is so much that I'd
rather focus on NYC for days at a time, then give it a few hours.
Just stating opinions. :)
