Very thoughtful and selfless here, Joel. What is a destination spot that is relatively central and cheap? I guess that would be Vegas, but I think the shows and such are expensive...Cirque de Soleiol I think is about $70/$90/$100 depending on seating - in NYC, anyway, and I think in Disney too.
But yes, hotels are cheap in Vegas because they want you to spend money on gambling. I also went to New Orleans and don't think that was too expensive, oddly enough.
Colorado also sounds very nice but I have no idea on cost.
One thing about Orlando, Disney is that there is a wide range of hotels and prices, and I think you get park passes too w/some deals....and (I'm going to regret this) they have campgrounds, for those who have called for roughing it. But the lower price you go, the more kids you get around you....lol.
Things to consider.....

Here's my thought on this...
I really enjoy hanging out with everyone - Fran said my
expression/demeanor/relaxation-level after Barlibash was the best she saw
in years.
I'd fly anywhere to meet all of you again. I don't care if we all decide on
Minot North Dakota in February, at a AAA one-diamond hotel.
I'd suggest we FOCUS ON COST/CONVENIENCE EASE FOR MANY, at a place that has
at least a few fun things for us to do, vs. trying to focus on making
Barlibash the ultimate vacation event. I think we each have to use the
non-Barli-time of our life to optimize our private vacation experiences.
The best hotel, the food, the proximity of a Tolkien event, the views out
the window, well I'd trade all of those if it meant that instead of getting
those, we picked a place that more of us could get to.
-Joel
