Here, here on Sedona!! And isn't it a "dry" heat...LOL. Besides, there were too many things to do in Boston. But, being on the northeast myself, I would have to vote for Philly, too (closer than Boston).
What about NYC? The one that was here a few years ago was unofficial, so I heard. And there's a NYC Tolkien Society (altho small, I believe).

Boise, Montana? Rapid City, South Dakota?
I know Texas is hotter than hot (I've been to Austin in August, thank you!)
but I kinda liked the idea because that way I could go and visit the NASA -
something I've always wanted to do. Besides the exhibit, that would be the
only appeal though :)
San Fran is nice - but Southwest, hhmm... I love it! Sedona is wonderful
(but it's tiny, there would not be as many things to do as in Boston or
Seattle). How about Santa Fe NM? I must say however that all of these places
(except San Fran where it rains most of the time, hehehe) are pretty HOT in
the summer.
How about Philadelphia? Maybe Calisuri would come, now that he's going to be
living on the East Coast again :)
