Dear all:

It has been a great pleasure, really a privilege to spend these =
wonderful three days in Boston with such excellent and admirable =
Barlibashers! Many thanks to Jincey for putting the event together, many =
thanks to Julie and Sue for their advice to the out-of-towners and for =
booking restaurants and comedy clubs
(even if I bailed out of the comedy club eventually... I was having way =
too much fun at Sue's party!)

I bow to Sue and Tim for hosting such a great pool party - food, fun and =
games! We had a blast playing Trivial Pursuit! And the BBQ was =
excellent!

Throughout the weekend it was great seeing again all of the TORnadoes I =
already knew, and getting to make many new friends. The Tolkien =
community is really a fellowship, and is made of the best hobbits, I =
mean: the best people!

Of course I had a blast at the exhibition too - when I went again on =
Sunday I stayed for 2 hours 1/2 (well, I'm a geek, I won't deny it!). =
Before they let us in they asked a few trivia questions, I wish they had =
done this on Friday. And I was the QUEEN of the trivia, as I knew the =
answers to many more questions than the general public (hmmm... I wonder =
why!). The best one would have been SO appropriate for our group: =
"What's the name of the owner of the Prancing Pony?" How about that, =
huh? Nobody in the queue knew this but ME. hehehe

This weekend also convinced me that I should definitely visit =
Barliman's... it was great fun to watch Maegwen navigating the chat =
rooms, even if it meant I would be obnoxiously harrassed by Leo...

Thanks again you guys, I will miss you.
Till our next meeting...

Love and smiles,

Catherine
(Arwen)
