Sorry, erather, I guess it was a little bit of a rant. But I didn't mean to offend or hurt you. I was addressing a general fuzziness in vocabulary on the board.

You were, as you say, very clear in your distinction between Saruman's technology and Elvish art/craft. I just reacted to your phrase "technology, for lack of a better term", and to a general, common mis-use of the word and idea that has not been infrequent on these boards.

I apologize. I didn't mean to pick on you at all, I just exploded. *offers topical lidocaine lotion and clean band-aid for finger*
