If you want to discuss books other than those by or about Tolkien, I strongly suggest that you wait for Curious's books-we've-been-reading thread, which begins every Wednesday morning in Main. You'll get much more response there than here in the Reading Room, where we like to keep our discussion on Tolkien. Just be prepared to tell Curious (and by extension the rest of us) *why* you liked the book :-)
