Tolkien is right- every story has a fall and then redemption. When you think
about it, this "problem and conclusion" idea that every writer is aware of is
being taught to first graders universally. By second grade it is common
knowledge that every story has a problem with the conclusion following. Where
did this start? Elf Maven is right- the "one true myth" of Christ's redemption
has subconsciously affected every writer's storyline, not just that of a
Catholic
author.
