We do indeed say tyoona instead of toona.
Except when we're imitating Americans. Which we do a lot. *Bites tongue about
the Free Trade Agreement*
This whole 'tyoo' sound is a bit confusing, and often comes out as 'choo' and
involves some spitting of spittle by the less precise amongst us. So we'd say
'choona' like as not. Sigh.
Do you say Toosday or Tyoosday over there in the
