Because its a much quicker, faster program for simple text files like the posts
on this board. That leaves Word, which I find slow and unwieldy, free for my
work, etc.
Another advantage, Curious, for precomposing off line is that you can save the
post's text for future reference, reposting, or amusement without depending on
the TORn server system.
Great post, however: always want to encourage people to "brave" the RR...
