sense. Yeah, the term 'Ranger' has been around for centuries. My
great-uncle was a class 5 Ranger (highest there was); which meant he spent all
his time fixing equipment at Carlsbad Caverns, so the term is now pretty
meaningless. But, it seems like the term meant different things at
different times in history. I've asked THAT question here before though
