feel to that....the troll under the bridge...I do love how different these Hobbit Elves are from both the Sil and the LOTR elves...these kinds of questions really point that up and show us how Tolkien "wrote" his way into this story, only understanding as he went on that it was a corner of the Arda he had already created for Beren, Luthien, Turin, etc.
