-Aragorn makes Faramir Prince of Ithillien and keeps his family as Stewards.
-He sends Gimli to Erebor to ask for the Dwarves to help rebuild Gondor and
Minas Tirith.
-He has to ride off to war in the East or South with Eomer, with whom he swears
the Oath of Eorl one more time. These little wars are nothing compard to the
War Of The Ring, but Aragorn still has to fight nonetheless.
-He rides north to Brandywine to meet the Hobbits at the borders ,and gives
Mayor Sam a Star Of The Dunedain (like the Rangers wear). Occasionaly they stay
in his new palace at Annuminas. Pippin may be recalled to Gondor at times,
since he is officialy a knight of that kingdom.
-Elessar also makes peace with the Dundelings and the Druedain,who don't seem
to mind this new King. He makes settlements with the Haradrim and Easterlings,
and makes diplomatic alliances with Erebor and Dale.
-Elessar begets at least 3 children, Eldarion his son being the Heir.
-He is a witness to Faramir and Eowyn's wedding ,which eventually leads to
Elboron the next Steward being born. He might also be present at Eomer's
wedding to Lothloriel of Dol Amroth.
-Elessar opens Orthanc, and with Gimli's help recovers the Elendimir, the first
jewel worn by his ancestors in Numenor (he is wearing a second version). Sadly,
there is no trace of Isildur (who wore it last)-Tolkien fears that Saruman
might have burned his bones in the furnaces. Elessar therefore wears the
original Elendimir on high occasions and the newer one in everyday affairs.
-Elessar dies in the manner of the Faithful of old in Numenor at 210, about 130
peaceful years after the War of the Ring and is laid to rest beside Merry and
Pippin, who died earlier. Eldarion is King now, and Arwen goes off to die in
Cerin
Amroth.
There is but one task remaining in Arda-we,the Dragons of Valinor will make it happen.
