Carl Sagan expressed that thought, and I've always loved it: that the
very hydrogen that makes the water in your body is the same as the hydrogen
that turns to helium to make the stars shine. The calcium in your bones,
the iron in your blood, the carbon in your body's proteins, all came into
existence in the hearts of dying red giant stars. We're made out of the
same material as stars. We are the universe, looking at the
universe and wondering how it works and how it came to
be.

"Strength is not like standing bravely, not afraid and laughing at bad things. No, strength is standing up, trembling inside and staying on your feet when you feel you must collapse and cry." -- Sylvia Stevens
