By the way, since a palant�r question has come up again, may I tag onto this thread to ask if anyone knows of any further sources of information on how palant�ri work besides LOTR and the essay in UT? I still have quite a few unanswered questions about if and how the two functions work together, and how Sauron was able to influence what Denethor saw. I posted these questions to the last palant�r thread, but it was soon before the thread dropped off the board and I don't know if anyone saw them. There's a link below, if anyone's interested and/or has any thoughts. ****** LOTR fanfiction by me and a friend "Debbie Does The Two Towers," COMPLETE!
