An evil dwarf lord, an Avari necromancer, a Blue Wizard returned from the East,
a powerful Orc lord who gets a hold or Saruman's ring, a Dragon, a Balrog (or
other such creature of Morgoth (there were MANY at one time, not just Balrogs),
or a horde of some kind.
All of which could make a good story but without the scope of LOTR. Since
we already had ME unfolded before us, a sequal would just be more of the same,
imho. Not a bad idea for fanfiction but not worthy of 'the master' to
have done
