in my mind too ethereal to be depicted in art. I think I would probably be unhappy with any artist's representation of the wights, and I think it was Tolkien's intention that they remain very vague, and very mysterious, with little description, much as the armies of the dead. I will be curious to see how they are depicted when the time comes (another 26 days here in oz).
