I think the elven blades from the Gondolin are more powerful because the elves
were more advanced. An idividual could be around for 1000s of years enhancing
their skill. Whilst Numenorean blades are good, they don't have the elvish
power because elves had nothing to do with the Numenoreans.
Anduril is a good sword because it is the one that cut TOR from Saurons hand,
which is why Aragorn could use it when he looked in the palantir.
Whereas all elven blades are made with top quality, the swords the hobbits get
from the barrow were probably only side arms, so not as magic as some
others.
