What she saw in Aragorn
Message:

was escape. She saw power, and glory, and a worthy man deserving of her respect and love. But most of all, she saw a way out of Rohan and the bonds she was in - tied down by duty to her uncle, whilst her brother rode off to glory. In Faramir, she gets all Aragorn's qualities but to a lesser degree - Faramir is her equal, whereas Aragorn, I'd argue, is really too far above her. His destiny is much greater than hers, and their marriage would not have been happy.
