That would be neat...

to think that stories like The Oddessy and myths of Prometheous (spelling?) were ancient LOTR.  As if they were popular tales, but we don't know nearly enough about those past times to know the exact roots of the myths. 
Just think: In 2000 years, when scientists come across Tolkien's stories they could see them as our myths and beliefs because of their vast popularity. 
  Just a thought- not like I know too much on the subject of myths.  Haha that would be funny though.  And we could all be looking down and laughing.
