At the last page of the Pelennor, before the Rohan poem, it mentions that
Eomer, Aragorn and Imrahil managed to survive the Pelennor Fields battle
unscathed and unharmed due to their ferocity and might in arms. All three are
of course wearing thick armor and wielding big swords. Not to mention being 7
feet tall.
Of course many other men survived intact. But Imrahil is no Rider or
superhero King-designate. He's 89 years old,
too.
There is but one task remaining in Arda-we,the Dragons of Valinor will make it happen.
