let me know, I'd love to read them. I think the religious influences are
apparent in many of the characters. Gandalf can certainly be revered as a
religious type. Those who are tempted by the Ring, feeling the tempation,
resisting or not resisting it and having regret/remorse of their actions. Frodo
as the Ringbearer can be seen as one who is carrying the redemption and
salvation of Middle Earth. The Fellowship could almost have some comparisons to
the Apostles. The message of sin/temptation yet also the will to do good is
always
there.
