Well, to be dull...
Message:

...I think that Faramir is conversing with the Hobbits in 'low' Westron, with which he knows they are most comfortable.  But when he quotes himself speaking to his brother, or addresses his brother's spirit, he speaks in the high language of his father's house, a speech much closer to Adunac.  Some of the archaic terms he uses are familiar forms (thou) - out of use in English and pretty much out of use in the Shire, but an integral part of the language of Numenor.  Likewise Adunac has a Vocative case (for direct address), of which 'O' (which is NOT merely an arcaic form of 'Oh') is the only relic in English.
Hey, I TOLD you I was going to be dull.
