Just finished it...

for (I think) the 23rd time.  I read it out of order, following different groups of characters to the end, which made for a much faster read.  Before that, last year I read it in Spanish, to give it some freshness.  And I re-read it in 2001 in anticipation of FotR.  Now I'm re-reading The Hobbit, just to keep my hand in.  I also read UT and the Book of Lost Tales I and II since coming to the RR as well as re-reading the Sil.  I'm thinking of going back and re-reading for the third time the HoME volumes 6-9 (the history of LotR).  I enjoyed them very much the last time I read them.
