Does not mean that everyone needs to feel remorse. I think the most that Grima
felt was self pity, as Kimi says. Remorse implies that you know what you did
was wrong, under any consideration of the word, and the only reason Grima
thinks what he did was wrong was because it turned out badly for him. His
character, if not entirely bad, was always oppurtunistic, and when Saruman
corrupted him any sense he had of right and wrong was corrupted along with him.
