I found that same sort of definition when I did a search for it to try to find a similar definition to what my professor said in class, because his definition was very long and immediately made me think of the Numenoreans, where as the definition I've seen both in search in here seems rather vague and would not have inclined me to think of the Numenoreans from the story of the Silmarillion. So perhaps there are more schools of thought out there that are obscure and this definition may just be his own kind of thing? Because the whole "drawn to the light but not permitted to go there" thing was really it. Or am I missing something?

I was just wondering whose silver tongue or golden pen is telling the tale we find ourselves in.
