Sam's song in Mordor. For me that image of the star shining above the
shadow is the heart of the whole book.
There's a beautiful old tune called Kingsfold in many hymnals that fits the
words exactly. That's what I usually sing it to. The tune in "The
Road Goes Ever On" isn't bad
either.
