I noticed another mistake
Message:

The last time I read LOTR, I checked the books out from the library.  I think that the copy I had was a Ballantine paperback with a movie cover.  Anyway, in the chapter "Many Meetings", I think I noticed a mistake.  If I remember right, the mistake was when Frodo was talking to Gandalf after he woke up, and Bilbo is mentioned.  Frodo says, "I wonder where he is.  I wish he was here and could hear all about it."   Except it said "hear and could hear."  Either that, or "here and could here."  I recently got my own set of the books, the Houghton Mifflin paperbacks with Alan Lee paintings on the covers.  Anyway, the mistake isn't there in this edition.  And the mistake is on page 218 in this edition.  I don't remember what it was in the Balantine book, but it would be a bigger number, since the pages are smaller.
