Subject:	How is it that the ring knows to turn Frodo's clothing invisible too?
Message:
I mean it turns him invisible, but it also turns his clothing, armour, sword and pack invisible too. Apparently anything in contact with him. How does it differentiate between things he's wearing and other things he's in contact with. Couldn't it turn a chair he's sitting on invisible too? Or a blanket he is under, a blanket is a covering just like clothes, how does it know the difference? I've wondered this for a long time, so I hope you guys have some good ideas on the subject.
