. . . the 'Ringbearing/wearing/using debate. Does the fact that Frodo is
wearing the Ring exert any compulsion over the Nazgul, or does he have to
actually be USING it? And could he in fact do so? He seems to have
had some command over Gollum, but how much of that is due to the Ring, and how
much to the personalities of, and relationship between, the two of
them?
