It is interesting that Sam's vision, as it were, has already been mentioned,
yet he alone of the hobbits at this point has undisturbed sleep. He
throws himself into everything, and that hobbit strength, as has been
discussed, will enable him to be the pillar of strength that Frodo will need
throughout their journey. Good point about his imagination, whoever said
that!
