I tried FOUR times this past spring to get a first ed. of the Hobbit through ILL... and had the ILL librarian at my school specifying "first edition" when she sent on the requests.  Not once did I get it - in fact one time I got the orange Ballantine paperback.  I finally gave up when I moved out of that state.  So... maybe I'll try again this fall. *  *  *  *  *  *  * Et Eärello Endorenna utúlien.  Sinome maruvan ar Hildinyar tenn' Ambar-metta!
