Subject:
UT: The Battles of the Fords of Isen #8
Message:

Grimbold, at the Fords, erected a shieldwall around his camp as hundreds of Saruman’s troops descended…..”In vain Grimbold looked for help to come from Elfhelm.  None came.  At last then he determined to carry out if he could the plan he had already made, if he should find himself in just such a desperate position.  He had at length recognised the wisdom of Elfhelm…….”

-Remembering the earlier post about Elfhelm’s second sense about the immenent attack at the Fords, do you think he was the better of the two commanders?  Do you think Erkenbrand have made the same decision to man the Fords rather than abandon them as Elfhelm suggested?

Lady A.
