and my PHASE is lifelong. I decided my hobby was costing too much two
years ago, so I turned it into a business, and I breed sport horses now.
I LOVE it (though it's heartbreaking as well; my best mare, who must be a
descendent of the mearas, lost twins this spring). I hope your
time/economy will allow for you to have a horse someday soon. I thought I'd
given them up when I had kids, but it only got worse, and I bought my first
registered horse then (rather than a cowboy reject); now they are my sanity, my
escape (along w/ LotR and other literature/criticism, but then, everyone needs
PHYSICAL escape, too). Yikes, horses and books have been the only
consistent thing throughout my life. I guess that's not so
bad....
Not all those who wander are lost.
