tolkien's cover design

I think the movie's choice is a good one - the two seats of evil power, under partial alliance... and Minas Tirith doesn't enter into TTT at all.

But Tolkien's cover design for TTT depicts Minas Morgul and Isengard. So maybe these are the closest to "official"?
