Thank you, everyone, for your personal responses to my questions. I
posted this message just before leaving work on Friday afternoon, and I've been
busy all weekend with my two daughters. They just went to bed, and I so I
just finished reading all of your replies.
Each of you had such great things to say, and I definitely can related to all
of your points. Generally, from what you wrote, it's a very personal
experience for all of us, and each of us does different things to "keep the
magic alive". Some of us watch little bits here and there to keep them
from fading out of our lives, some of us watch them frequently in their
entirety.
I think all of us agree that watching them in a group is different than
watching them alone or with just one person as enthusiastic as we are. I
think it's because the messages, morals, and feelings in the story are so
personal, watching them alone just feels right.
Thank you all for your advice and great ideas. I'm glad to know that you
guys understood what I meant without thinking it was weird. You're a
great group of LOTR enthusiasts, and I look forward to learning more about the
story from all of you.
Kindest regards,
Nuradar
