You mentioned that you've read the Kushiel series?  I think I skimmed through the second book in a bookstore (maybe, probably not a good sign if I can't remember if I've read the book), do you think it's worth reading?  I enjoyed the first one, although it's odd, but it didn't capture my interest enough to read the 2nd (I think) and the 3rd without a recommendation.

My goodness, I can't believe I managed to find time to wander on back to TORn, it's been years.  And what have I been reading?  I just finished "The Ernesto "Che" Guevara School for Wayward Girls: A Novel of Politics."  It was odd.  Very odd.  On to Endymion now.
