..even here in Germany I managed to grab one...
and as an Roleplayer with 15 years of steady practice and the tendency , to
find flaws in every system ... IT IS GREAT !
Very keen on the right athmospheric setting and the Spirit of Tolkien ( the
chapter on magic in Middle Earth is the best researched essay on this topic ive
ever read ) , really simple but realistic system ( simple , not primitive )
.
Elves as PCs are much more powerful than men , like iTolkien described them .
Game-balancing is not so primary for a RPG in Middle earth , and good
Roleplayers should also have no problem with that .
The only thing I changed in the Rules : I decreased the Hitpoints , so now a
skilled warrior can chop down an Orc with one or two hits . The risk for PCs is
then also higher , but a good GM can always fudge a little bit in their
favour.
I heartily can also recommend this RPG
.

Men went to catraeth with the dawn
Their fears disturbed their peace ,
A hundred thousand fought three hundred
Bloodily they stained spears ,
His was the bravest station in battle
Before the retinue of Mynnyddog Mwynfawr .
