Interests:	Have carved pumpkins and decorated xmas trees at bottom of coldwater quarries(certified advanced open water scuba diver), owned by 2 mustangs(equine) 2 cats, 3 sled dogs, and one 17ft. sea kayak. Volunteer with several wildlife orgs; have (with help of lecture redtail hawk, Thermal) demonstrated projectile pooping to 3rd graders, been held hostage by Great Horned Owl, chomped by river otter, barfed on by vultures, and wrestled one (very small) tiger. Have trained several mustangs (a black mare named Olori Eldalie adopted thru the BLM's Adopta-Horse Program)and beginning riders. They taught me more, (one horse taught me the fine art of riding without a bridle). Ex-medievalist; learned to shoot a bow(marginally) swing a broadsword, and row a viking longship(leave the chainmail ashore). Can run on snow with assistance of 3 huskies and a dogsled. Artist/writer, working on original story cycle, but at least a few roots are in Middle Earth.
When did you first read Lord of the Rings?:	1978, hot on the heels of Star Wars, and the animated LOTR movie, a SW penpal gave me the Trilogy, which I read after I discovered orcs and DD, (You want me to play what? What's an Elf???)
Who is your favorite character?:	Legolas, absotively, posolutely. I recognized an archetype I'd long been in love with; the natural-world guy who can talk to trees, ride horses without bridle or saddle, run light over snow, hit a bird's eye in the dark with a bow and arrow, sing like a nightingale and see like a hawk, and tough enough to knife orcs on the walls at Helm's Deep.
Less filling or Tastes great?:	Life is a delicate balance of yin and Yang... TASTE!!! (without calories, of course...)
Elves and dragons or cabbages and potatoes?:	Elves and potatoes (mashed, with calorie free butter, and Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream, chocolate.), and a dragon to light the fire.
