Interests:	Tolkien, Celtic literature and music, and learning Irish (two generations removed from Ireland on my mother's side). Being a generation removed from Norway on my father's side, I have an interest in Norse mythology. Anglo-saxon literature and history, and also attempting to learn the language. Classic Literature. Water painting, ink washes, and charcoal drawing. Last, but not LEAST, my 3 year old grandson who already loves Dragons and knows who Frodo, Gandalf, Treebeard, Bilbo and Smaug are. He's seen The Hobbit several times, the 1978 movie once, and some of the FOTR. And he is fascinated with The Two Towers. (The Ents.)
When did you first read Lord of the Rings?:	Just prior to my 12th birthday.
Who is your favorite character?:	My very first favorite character was Bilbo, and then Sam. Then it was and remained Merry, and Pippin: though I believe all along at the same time, Frodo was my favorite. And Gandalf and Eowyn . . .and back to Merry, and yes, always Frodo.... you understand . . . :)

Description:
I attended college majoring in English and Studio Art, but was unable to finish. It is my dream/goal to be a published writer, illustrating my own work. So, when not working -- which I always seem to be doing, my time is filled with my grandson, writing, more writing, sketching, photography (for my sketches), reading, more reading, and re-reading more Tolkien, and more of my grandson. :) A heartfelt, humbled thank you to Elijah Wood; for a life long Tolkien fan who fancied she was more like Merry, everyone now is calling me Frodo. A heartfelt thank you to Peter Jackson, cast and crew: Although the Lord of The Rings can never be duplicated, a greatful thank you for the beautiful renditions you've given us.
