Each year at Comic-Con, TheOneRing.net releases at least one new t-shirt for
the attendees. And each year we can all but guarantee that we'll get a load
of email from non-attendees looking to purchase the same shirts. This year,
we were prepared! We're happy to announce that you can now place your order
for our Comic-Con 2010 T-shirts online. If you were not already aware,
TheOneRing.net occasionally runs these t-shirt sales to offset the costs of
running our website. Even with an all volunteer staff (including owners), we
occasionally find ourselves strapped for cash to fund basic operations.
Thank you for your continued support! We had two designs this year: 'Talk
nerdy to me' and 'I kissed a geek.And I Liked it!'

Latest WETA Newsletter: It's all about the fans!

See collectors' own photos of Smaug the Golden: Smaug the Golden is now
shipping in the US (and will be shortly in the rest of the world - see
bottom of this email). The Weta Collectors on the forum (our most discerning

NY Times writes about 3D resistance in Hollywood, TORn's own quoted

Michael Cieply at the New York Times has written a nice piece about how
resistance against 3D is forming in Hollywood. He used many sources from
Comic-Con and says that filmmakers may carry more clout with studios than
people who cough up money to see films. He also quotes a TORn article and
our own webmaster in the story that talks about an issue important to film
fans world wide.
