Tolkien Letter for Auction
Anette writes: The auction house I am working in recently received a letter
from J.R.R. Tolkien to a fan to sell at auction. The letter reveals the real
life setting of Gondor, and tells of the problems he is facing getting the
third and final book published. A full transcript as well as pictures are
available from our web site.

More 'Ringers' Photos and Review
Belladonna writes: Added to audiblebeauty.net are a couple dozen more photos
from Ringers screenings, including the final one this last Thursday night.
Despite the drizzly weather we got a pretty good turnout, and I at least
both enjoyed the film again and celebrating in the great line party
atmosphere.

TORN's Own Book: The People's Guide to J.R.R. Tolkien

Cold Spring Press is pleased to announce its new book "The People's Guide to
J.R.R. Tolkien." This book of essays fills the void between the release of
the second and third Lord of the Rings movies. Passionate, ardent,
well-informed, and unlike any other book on the subject, this is an
indispensable handbook for people who consider themselves experts -- or who
wish to become experts -- on the lore of Middle-earth and the man who made
the myths.
