[Bashies] I want to help, Curunir!!!

To all fellow Bashers and Bashettes:
I've been keeping a low profile on this whole thing and probably will 
continue to do so.  I LOVE Toronto and want to see Luinfalathiel's digs, so 
I'm thrilled to go up north.  But seriously, I want to help.  For those 
people who would like some organized Tolkien-ish things to do (ME Scrabble 
being one I thought of!) I would be more than happy to help with that once 
we're closer to time and have a list of attendees.

I have never had an experience like the one I did in Bellevue with you all.  
My overwhelming feeling, which I've shared with some, was that of being part 
of a big clan or family reunion- all my previously-unknown 
second-cousin-once-removed fellow Tolkien fans.  And the nice thing was, I 
didn't have to explain the "Tolkien thing."  I could get straight to getting 
to know people, their hobbies, their real life jobs, what brought them to 
Washington to meet somebody like me.  The withdrawal that I've been 
suffering over the past couple of weeks has been excruciating at times, but 
I am grateful for Barliman's and email, which has kept the pain somewhat at 
bay.

Curunir, sign me up for next year, and however I can help, please let me 
know.
