First of all, I want to thank Arathorn for setting up this mailing list! I know we see each other often in the chat, but sometimes you want to say things to everyone at once and we're not ALL online at the same time.

Secondly, I wanted to thank Curunir for his comments as well as all his hard work taking the Barlibash organization upon himself - getting a group like us sorted out and happy is about as easy as herding fleas - as we found out in Seattle. I think it is only fair that Bash next year happens on the East coast so more Easterlies and Europeans might be able to attend. We can have another West Coast Bash for 2004 ... and who's to say it's going to wind down after that? (although Curu might feel like he want to pass the reins to someone else at that point!)
