Well folks, tomorrow morning many of us will be departing for the Shore,
with others of you hot on our heels.

I'm hoping everyone is as excited as I am!

The weather here in NJ is a little erratic. As of yesterday the forecast
through Tuesday was sun and hotness. Currently the National Weather Service
seems to be hedging its bets about possible thunderstorms.

You can view the weather forecast here:

=NJ&site=PHI

Should we get a day of storms, I hope that we can pile into cars and take a
drive to Atlantic City for the day -- visit the casinos, do some shopping,
and perhaps have dinner at one of the great restaurants. Since Charlie won't
be with us until Thursday, maybe we can have Carmines without upsetting him!

For people loathe to sit on the beach all day, there are day trips and other
things to do:

Check out the shops and mid-century homes in Spring Lake:

Tour Princeton, including the beautiful Governor's home of Drumthwaket
(maybe we can catch him hobbling around outside):

Take the drive over to Six Flags Great Adventure:

At the shore itself there is plenty to do:
Jenkinsons Boardwalk, including movies on the beach, Thursday night
fireworks, Tuesday wristband day, and Friday wristband night (ride all rides
for $15): http://www.jenkinsons.com/

Martells: http://www.tikibar.com/
Group trip to the movies:

Try your hand at deep sea fishing:

We probably can't make this (Saturday tour only, must book soon), but just
in case: http://www.sceneontv.com/tour.php/sopranos/ (If you really want, I
could drive you around Essex County myself and we could have lunch at the
restaurant where the series finale took place -- it's 8 blocks from where I
once lived, lol)

We have a great list of restaurants to visit, too. From top-notch seafood to
the best of Jersey Italian. Bring your appetite. :)

I'm sending the attendees list with phone numbers separately to people
attending this year's Bash. Keep your eye open for it. PLEASE NOTE, I HAVE A
NEW CELL PHONE NUMBER.
