[Barlibash] Barlibash 2005 approacheth!

Hello Barlibashers!

We are now swiftly approaching the cut off date for making reservations -
June 1st. 

We recommend that anyone who has not yet made their reservation and/or is on
the fence about attending, make a reservation now. Payment in advance is not
required, and you may cancel up to 24-48 hours prior to your arrival date.
If you even think you might be joining us in Chicago, make your reservation
now.

People in search of roommates should contact me. I have the names of several
people who are seeking room shares, and may be able to assist you.

More than half of you indicated on our Barlibash poll that you were
interested in attending a White Sox vs. Red Sox game on Friday evening. I'd
like to know if everyone is still interested. I am presently inquiring with
the Sox about the availability of group tickets and possibly a party
beforehand at the stadium. However, we need 20 people to qualify as a group.
Tickets appear to be $27. Please e-mail me with your response, ASAP. 

I am also putting together pages for the Bash site about Things to Do in
Chicago, transportation information (to and from the airport, as well as
around town). If anyone plans to be renting a car and would be willing to
transport people if needed, let myself or jincey know. 

We will also be asking soon about who wishes to spend a day at Wheaton
College (home of C.S. Lewis' papers) or Oak Park (Frank Lloyd Wright
Museum). So think about that a little over the next few weeks. I'll be
posting information for both on the site.


Any questions, or anything else, we're here to answer. There are FIFTY EIGHT
days until Bash!
