We have touched down in Chicago!

Last night jincey, samgamgee7, corvar, miss kitty, 6thWalker, and myself
attended a wonderful birthday dinner for Balin, thrown by his very cool
family. Lots of great food and hugs and drinks, of course.

Today, after a huge breakfast, I am sitting in Corvar and Julie's living
room enjoying the sound of rain -- which the Midwest hasn't had in several
weeks -- and sorting through Bash details.

If anyone runs into any trouble finding each other tomorrow, or at the
airport without a clue how to get to the hotel, please call my cell #

For those of you coming by train, there is a water taxi (under $3) from
the Union Station to the Wrigley building, and then it is a short walk to
the hotel. jincey and sam took it yesterday, and said it was an easy trip.

Any other questions, call me, as I will be on email only very sporadically

btw, our dinner reservations are for 8pm tomorrow, so even the late comers
should have no trouble tracking us down. Also, check-in can be held til
midnight, just ring the hotel ahead of time and let them know that you
will be arriving late.
