I think it sounds perfect for breaking the ice. If they are rude, we’ll
treat them to attitude, TORn style ;)

Jincey and I will ban them from the table or something.

I have been to Ed Debevic's numerous times, usually as a pre-theater quick
bite to eat.  My opinion is that the wait staff is often out of work actor's
looking to be discovered and for that reason will often do a kind of
'schtick' as I think it is referred to.  So it becomes luck of the draw as
to whether you enjoy the particular person's 'act'.  Some go the kind of
rude route, some do the funny route, some do the pun thing, it just
depends.  I enjoy the food, kind of a 50's diner menu and atmosphere, very
casual and at times boisterous.  And they serve real honest to goodness
Green Rivers.
